  • Published:
Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

A convenient method is proposed for the synthesis of new derivatives of the pyridine series, alkyl N-(2-oxo-3-pyridyl)carbamates (IIa-i, IVa-j), in the reaction of 7-trifluoromethyl-5-phenyl-2-oxooxazolo[5,4-b]pyridines (I, IIIa-j) with alcohols.
