Chromatographic/mass-spectrometric analysis of heterocyclic tautomeric forms of nitrogen-containing derivatives of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds

  • Published:
Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

By means of chromatography/mass spectrometry, a quantitative estimate has been made of the gas-phase contents of different tautomeric forms of a monooxime, monoacetylhydrazone, diacetylhydrazone, and monoamidrazonoacetylacetone. In particular, individual tautomeric forms of these compounds were identified: 5-hydroxyoxazoline, 5-hydroxypyrazoline, 5-hydroxylaminopyrazoline, 5-acetylhydrazinylpyrazoline, and 5-acetonyl-2,3,4-triazoline.
