Catalytic activity and γ-resonance spectra of tin-containing oxide catalysts

Abstract

The catalytic properties and γ-resonance spectra of tin-containing oxide catalysts have been investigated. For all the oxide catalysts studied the γ-resonance spectra were identical with that of SnO2, though the catalytic properties of these samples are markedly different. Presumably, the Sn4+ ions in the catalysts examined play no decisive role in the catalytic oxidation of propylene.

Abstract

Изучены каталитические свойства и гамма-резонансные спектры окисных катализаторов, содержащих олово. Гамма-резонансные спектры для всех изученных катализаторов идентичны спектру SnO2, хотя каталитические свойства этих контактов значительно отличаются. Высказано предположение, что ион Sn4+ в исследованных катализаторах не играет решающей роли в процессе каталитического окисления пропилена.
