MRI of petrositis in chronic granulomatous disease

Abstract

We report a 7-year-old boy with chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) who presented with left seventh and eight nerve palsies and ataxia due to inflammation in the internal auditory canal and petrous temporal bone, optimally demonstrated by MRI after gadolinium enhancement.
