The reaction of iminium salts of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimido[1,2-a]indole-10-carbaldehydes with sodium hydrosulfide, amines, formation of the corresponding and thioaldehydes, azomethines, and nitrovinyl derivatives, existing predominantly in the enamidine form.
