Abstract
We consider a viscous incompressible fluid enclosed in a region of IR2, and subject to boundary conditions. We obtain explicit bounds (depending only on the data) for the entropy (Kolmogorov-Sinaï invariant) and the Hausdorff dimension of attracting sets.
