Synthesis of derivatives of thiazolo[2,3-i]purine

Abstract

Thiazolo[2,3-i]purine and its 7,8-alkyl(aryl, heteryl)derivatives were obtained by the cyclodehydration of 7hydroxy-7, 8-dihydrothiazolo[2, 3-i)purine and 6-β-oxoalkyl (aryl, heteryl)thiopurines in the presence of phosphoryl chloride, sulfuric, and polyphosphoric acids.
