Abstract

The ultrasonic findings in neuroblastoma of the adrenal gland are usually of a complex or echo producing mass. Cystic neuroblastoma of the adrenal gland is a rare entity. The ultrasonic findings in one such case are presented. The appearances were unusual in that the mass appeared totally transonic. A brief review of the literature concerning neuroblastoma is made and the differential diagnosis of similar ultrasonic masses is considered.
