Spondylotic deformity of the lumbar spine and previous lumbar punctures

Abstract

Iatrogenic acute spondylytis with secondary bacterial meningeal infection following lumbar punctures was observed in an 11 month old Negro boy. The infection healed but led to a spondylotic deformity of the lumbar spine.
