Spinal cord compression by vertebral hemangioma

Abstract

Asymptomatic vertebral hemangiomas occur frequently in adults but the discovery of a similar lesion in the pediatric age group is uncommon. A case which involves all the neural arch components with resultant spinal cord compression is rare and is reported with a review of pertinent literature.
