Abstract

Ten children are presented with epiglottic enlargement who did not have acute bacterial epiglottitis. Although the radiologic appearance of enlargement of the epiglottis is non-specific, correlation with clinical history and other radiologic findings allows correct diagnosis and appropriate therapy. The clinical presentation, radiologic appearance, and differential diagnostic considerations are discussed.
