Abstract

Derivatives of DisilanesXme2SiSime2X withX=H, F, Cl, Br, J, Ome, Ph, Sme, and Si2me5Sme were prepared, some of them for the first time, and investigated by spectroscopic methods. The hitherto unknown group of sulphur compounds of disilanes show similarities with the corresponding polysilane (Sinme2n+2,n=Si+S) in their UV-, IR and Raman spectra, resulting from the similar mass of sulphur and silicon.
