  • Published:
Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

The action of dicyclohexylcaibodiimide on 2-benzimidazolylthioacetic,Β-(2-benzimidazolylthio)propionic,Β-(2-benzimidazolyl)propionic and 2-benzimidazolylacetic acids has given the anhydro derivatives of these acids. It has been shown that the hydrogen atoms in the methylene group of anhydro-2-benzimidazolylthioacetic acid have the highest mobility.
