Conclusions

From the plantHaplophyllum bucharicum Litv. have been isolated skimmianine, folifine, haplopine, and a new base, bucharaine.

Bucharaine has the structure 4-(6′-hydroxy-5′-hydroxyisopropylhept-3′-enloxy)quinol-2-one.
