Immobilization of a protease on grafted polyethylenes

Abstract
It has been shown that when the protease ofBacillus mesentericus is immobilized on polyethylene with grafted-on polyacrylic acid by the carbodiimide method there is a considerable retention of its activity and an increase in its thermal stability, and the immobilized preparations are active on repeated use.
