Abstract
Two glycosides of the cycloartane series — cyclogaleginosides A and B — have been obtained from inflorescences ofAstragalus galegiformis L. (Leguminosae), and their structures have been established by chemical transformations and spectral characteristics as cyclogalegigenin 3-O-(2′-O-acetyl)-β-D-xylopyranoside and cyclogalegigenin 3-O-β-D-xylopyranoside, respectively.
