Abstract
2-Nitro-5-(4-carboxy-2-quinolyl)thiophene was obtained bynitration of 5-(4-carboxy-2-quinolyl) thiophene. Data from microbiological tests of the nitro-substituted thiophene and its carboxyl-group derivatives are presented.
