The structure of badkhysinin

Summary

On the basis of NMR spectra, it has been shown that badkhysinin is a lactone of the eudesmane series and is the ester of 4-hydroxy-2,3-epoxyeudesma-1(14),11(13)-dien-8,12-olide and 1,2-dimethylacrylic acid.
