Summary
In addition to the known spirostans neoagigenin and alliogenin, we have isolated from the skins of the bulbs ofAllium turcomanicum Rgl. a new steroid sapogenin — neoalliogenin, which is (25S)-5α-spirostan-2α, 3β, 5α, 6β-tetraol.
