Summary
1. In addition to the four lignan compounds studied previously, we have isolated and identified matairesinol and pinoresinol and have also shown the presence of 3,4-divanillyltetrahydrofuran by thin-layer chromatography.
2. The NMR spectra of the lignans of Siberian spruce have been discussed.
