Bitter substances from Teucrium chamaedrys

Summary

The plantTeucrium chamaedrys, family Labiatae, has yielded four new bitter principles which have been characterized and namedteucrins A, B, C, andD. According to preliminary results, these compounds belong to the norditerpene furolactone group.
