Conclusion

From the roots ofSeseli iliense (Regel et Schmalh) Lipsky, in addition to the coumarin peucenol, two new furocoumarins have been isolated — iselin and iliensin. The most probable structures of these compounds has been proposed on the basis of the results of the characteristics of their UV, IR, and NMR spectra.
