Abstract
Cyclic acetals of N-acyl derivatives of 3-formylindole and 3-formyl-5-phenyl-7-ethylthiopyrrolo[3,2-d]pyrimidine, which may be viewed as analogs of the α and β anomers of C-nucleosides modified in the carbohydrate part of the molecule, have been obtained.
