Abstract

3a,9-Dihydro-1,2,3-trialkoxycarbonylcyclopenta[b]-1,4-benzothiazines, the structures of which were established on the basis of the absorption, fluorescence, PMR, and IR spectra and quantum-chemical calculations, were synthesized by condensation of oaminothiophenol with 1,2-dihydroxy-3,4,5-trialkoxycarbonyl-2,5-cyclopentadienes.
