Abstract
2-Mercapto-3-amino-5-chloropyridine reacts with phenacyl halides to yield 2-phenacylmercapto-3-amino-5-chloropyridines and 2-aryl-7-chloro-3H-pyrido[2, 3-b][1, 4]thiazines.
