Abstract
The base-catalyzed isomerization of 4-arylamino- and 4-morpholino-2-sulfolenes to 3-substituted 2-sulfolenes was investigated by UV spectroscopy. A shift in the ν as frequencies of the SO2 group was noted in the IR spectra of the latter.
