Reaction of pyrylium salts with amines of the benzimidazole series

Abstract

The reaction of pyrylium salts with primary amines of the benzimidazole series gives benzimidazolylpyridiniumperchlorates. The bacteriostatic action of the synthesized preparations was investigated.
