Abstract
Depending on the nature of the heteroring and the hydrazone, a formazan or a heterylazophenylhydrazone are formed in the reaction of an aryl hydrazone with the diazonium salt obtained from a heterocyclic amine. Disproportionate to form a triphenylformazan is also possible.
