Abstract
Phosphorylation of N1-(1,4-dihydroxy-2-butyl) derivatives of uracil and thymine with polyphosphoric acid or Β-cyanoethyl phosphate in the presence of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide gives the corresponding diphosphates as the chief reaction products.
