Abstract

Reaction of carbon suboxide with a number of 2-aminopyrimidines gives compounds which are considered to be 2, 3-(dioxotetrahydropyrimido)pyrimidines or 1, 2-(dioxotetrahydropyrimido)pyrimidines.
