Abstract
1-Acyl-4-acyloxy-2,3,6-triaryl-δ3- and δ4-piperideines were obtained by acylation of 2,3,6-triarylpiperidone and its 1-acetyl derivative with carboxylic anhydrides and chlorides. The molecular and crystal structures of 3-phenyl-2,6-bis(o-acetoxyphenyl)-1-acetyl-4-acetoxypiperidin-3-ene were established by x-ray diffraction analysis.
