Increasing performance in data centers and embedded systems, combined with almost universal availability of fast cellular communication networks, creates new ways of running mobile machines efficiently and quickly detecting component failure. IAV has used the possibilities of modern information technology for extended diagnostics of powertrain components and subsystems.
Intelligent Maintenance Strategies
The state of a machine, its subsystems and components has to be measured and evaluated partially as a statutory requirement, but this information can also be useful in other ways. On-board Diagnostic (OBD) requirements are implemented in the engine control unit as an analysis function, in the form of statistical and physical models.
