An event is serious (based on the ICH definition) when the patient outcome is:

  • * death

  • * life-threatening

  • * hospitalisation

  • * disability

  • * congenital anomaly

  • * other medically important event

In a case series, three patients (1 woman and 2 men) aged 51−75 years were described, of whom a 75 year-old man developed hypophysitis, adrenal insufficiency and hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism, a 68-year-old woman developed hypophysitis, panhypopituitarism, adrenal insufficiency and hypothyroidism, and a 51-year-old man developed hypophysitis, panhypopituitarism, adrenal insufficiency, hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism and hypothyroidism, during treatment with ipilimumab for metastatic melanoma [dosages, routes and durations of treatments to reactions onsets not stated; not all outcomes stated].
