Connected Validation of ADAS Functions

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, ADAS in short, place new requirements on test and validation options. It is particularly necessary to simultaneously record time-correlated data on functions and reactions of multiple vehicles. Here, FEV describes the use of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technologies to achieve this goal. Test cases and their evaluation are presented as examples. With the advent of the fifth-generation mobile communications technology (5G), new possibilities arise.
