Die neuen Blutdruckziele der amerikanischen Gesellschaften unterscheiden sich im Vergleich zu den europäischen Gesellschaften nur in einigen Nuancen. Während die Amerikaner immer noch an einem Grenzwert festhalten, definieren die Europäer einen Zielkorridor und nähern sich dort dem Grenzwert der Amerikaner an.
