Confinement effect and masses of light-heavy mesons in finite extra dimension

Abstract

We obtain the wave function of light-heavy mesons considering only linear confinement potential in finite extra dimension. Specifically, we consider one finite extra dimension and calculate the masses of few light-heavy mesons. Our analysis suggests that a model of mesons with pure confinement potential having one finite extra dimension of size \(L\le 10^{-7}\,{\mathrm{{GeV}}}^{-1}\) is compatible with the present experimental data of light-heavy mesons.
