Recap of the 29th annual conference on financial economics and accounting, November 16–17, 2018

The 29th annual Conference on Financial Economics and Accounting (CFEA) was held at Tulane University on November 16–17, 2018. There were close to 350 papers submitted for the conference. 45 papers were accepted for presentation at the conference (18 each in Accounting and Finance and 9 papers to be presented in joint finance/accounting sessions) after a rigorous review process that resulted in an 12.9% acceptance rate. The result was both exciting and outstanding. CFEA has become one of the most prestigious academic conferences in finance and accounting nationally and internationally.
