The original version of this article unfortunately contained mistakes. Below are the corrections:

1. In page 3, “Digestive activity” section, paragraphs 2, 3, and 4 should be rewritten as:

Chymotrypsin and trypsin activities were assayed according to Erlanger et al. (1961), using succinyl-(Ala) 2-pro-phe-p-nitroanilide (SAPNA) as substrate for chymotrypsin and benzoyl-DL-arginin-p-nitroanilide (BAPNA) for trypsin, both expressed in units per milligram of protein (U mg-1 protein). Lipase activity was measured according to Versaw et al. (1989), using β-naphthyl caprylate as substrate and expressed in units per microgram of protein (U μg-1 protein). Amylase activity was evaluated according to Vega-Villasante et al. (1993), using soluble starch as substrate, and was expressed in units per microgram of protein (U μg-1 protein).

2. The bibliographic information of “Nachlas MM, Blackburn R (1958) The colorimetric determination of urinary lipase. J Biol Chem 230:1051–1061” should be replaced with “Versaw WK, Cuppett SL, Winters DD, Williams LE (1989) An improved colorimetric assay for bacterial lipase in nonfat dry milk.
