Optimal Temperature–Time Regime for Slag-Foam Glass Synthesis Determined by Mathematical Modeling

  • Published:
Glass and Ceramics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

The process of synthesis of slag-foam glass was investigated by means of mathematical modeling. Software making it possible to investigate the temperature–time field of the batch as it is heated was developed. The data obtained made it possible to determine the optimal synthesis regime for slag-foam glass and their reliability was checked experimentally.
