CHANGING IN THE LAP SETUP; YOU DO NOT NEED A ROBOT FOR HAVING A GOOD ERGONOMIC POSITION, JUST TAKE A CHAIR; LAP SITTING POSITION -LSP

While Laparoscopy started, main objective was doing the same surgery but using minimally invasive approach. The surgeon continuous standing up beside of the patient, performing the Lap surgery mostly in a poor ergonomic position of hands, shoulders, neck, lumbar spine and legs. More than 85% of the Lap surgeons have reported injuries, pain and other problems. In Robotic surgery, sitting in a chair is much better ergonomic position. Since 2017 we are developing a new Lap Sitting Position (LSP) with a Chair for the surgeon.
