High glucose and hydrogen peroxide increase c-Myc and haeme-oxygenase 1 mRNA levels in rat pancreatic islets without activating NFκB

The concentration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) used in this study was incorrectly given as 5 μmol/l. The actual concentration was 58 μmol/l throughout the paper (Table 3, Fig. 3b and c, Fig. 4). This does not affect the discussion or the conclusion of the paper.
