Abstract.
The diffraction of a spherical electromagnetic wave by a perfectly conducting half plane embedded in a homogeneous biisotropic medium is considered. This is important because the point sources are regarded as reasonable substitutes for real sources. The diffracted far field is calculated using integral transforms and the asymptotic methods.
