Summary

The working procedure and the consecutive steps taken in investigating landslides and other mass movements on slopes is described. Good experience with the use of cross-hole seismic measurements for the search for deep-seated sliding surfaces is reported. Attention is called to the advantageous use of the AGA laser geodimeters for a rapid and accurate control of mass movements on slopes, and to the possibility of using the AGA thermovision in investigating the conspicuous crevasses in rock slides.

L’Emploi de Methodes Modernes en Etudiant des Glissements de Versants

Résumé

On décrit la procédure et les méthodes appliquées à l’investigation de glissements et autres mouvements en masse de versants. On présente les bonnes expériences obtenues pendant les mesurages sismiques entre des forages et pendant les mesurages géoacoustiques pour la recherche de plans de glissement en grande profondeur. On signale les avantages de l’emploi des géodimètres ”AGA” pour un contrôle rapide et précis des mouvements de versants et la possibilité d’application de la thermovision ”AGA” à l’investigation du cours des crevasses apparaissant dans des masses glissantes.
