Hydrochloric acid hydrolysis of bromazepam. Identification and relevance of some additional products

WithMs andNmr spectroscopic methods the structures of three additional by-products formed in the hydrochloric acid hydrolysis of bromazepam were established. Some attention was paid to the analytical relevance of the by-products and indications are given to perform the hydrolysis in such a way that one specific product can be obtained.
