Lifetime measurements of theD +,D 0,D + s , andΛ + c charmed particles

Abstract

Using a high-statistics sample of more than 1000 reconstructed charmed-particle decays, the lifetimes of the weakly decaying charmed mesons and of theΛ + c baryon have been measured:

$$\begin{gathered} \tau _{D^ + } = 1.03 \pm 0.08 + 0.06 ps,\tau _{D^0 } = 0.417 \pm 0.018 \pm 0.015 ps \hfill \\ \tau _{D_s^ + } = 0.33_{ - 0.08}^{ + 0.12} \pm 0.03 ps,\tau _{\Lambda _c^ + } = 0.18 \pm 0.03 \pm 0.03 ps. \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$
