Investigation of the kinetics of dissolution of solid metals in metal melts by the rotating disk method iron-aluminum system

This article describes the experimental technique and results of a study of the kinetics of dissolution of armco iron in liquid aluminum by the rotating disc method at temperatures ranging from 700 to 800° C and disc rotation speeds of 60–600 rpm. It was shown that the results obtained do not satisfy the Nernst-Shchukarev equation.
