Investigation of the photolysis of aromatic derivatives of the group VB elements

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    A “trap” method has been used to identify and quantitatively determine radical products formed in a primary photochemical act.

  2. 2.

    In the photolysis of solutions of compounds with the general formula Ph3M at 300°K the quantum yield of the radical products increases substantially with increasing atomic number of the element.
