    A study was made of the effect of pressure, temperature, and component ratio in the starting mixture on the kinetics of the macroscopic stages of the oxidation of isobutane by oxygen in the presence of HBr.

    A chemical mechanism is proposed, which agrees with the kinetic laws of the process.
