Synthesis and reactivity studies of several derivatives of p-[DI(2-chloropropyl)amino]phenylacetic acid

  • 17 Accesses

Conclusions

  1. 1.

A new method for synthesizing p-[di(2-chloropropyl)amino]phenylacetic acid has been developed.

  2. 2.

A series of new derivatives of p-[di(2-chloropropyl)amino]phenylacetic acid has been synthesized: p-[di(2-chloropropyl)amino]benzyl cyanide, p-[di(2-chloropropyl)amino]phenylacetamide, andα,α-di{p-[di(2-chloropropyl)amino]phenylacetamido}propionic acid.

  3. 3.

The rate of hydrolysis of the chlorine atom of chloropropylphenylacetic acid derivatives is significantly higher than the comparable rates of the analogous chloroethylaminophenylacetic acid derivatives.
