    2-Chloro- and 2-methoxyferrocene-1-carboxylic acids were synthesized.

  2. 2.

    There is a difference in the homo- and heteroannular effect of the chloro- and methoxy substituents on the dissociation constants of ferrocene carboxylic acids.
